Do you think that eventually (possibly within 100 years or so) the Athiest populus of the world will get angry about being a minority and an Athiest contry (rather a country that declared Athiesm thier religion) declares war on another religious country (Israel or any other Religious contry). I guess my question is, do you think that Relgion will lead to a World War?

Maybe belief in myths about a good one in Heaven at war with an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth creates blind obedience, flawed character, and misguided loyalty that are capable of best satisfying the need and aspiration of a mercenary plutocratic predatory few to achieve and maintain authority, power, order and control. In the minds of those who are enslaved to the will of ideological authorities claiming to know the will of a good one in Heaven at war with an evil one cast down to and ruling over Earth, the idea of making a terrorist attack upon infidels could easily become equated with fighting evil and if death should come as a result then this could be equated with becoming a martyr on the way to gaining entry to Heaven and experiencing divine bliss for the rest of Eternity. From these kinds of equations follows a global shakedown of epic proportions some call a "war on terror". This is a form of extortion where in a desire to profit from the sale and manufacture of the products and services of a beast of a military industrial complex leads a mercenary plutocratic predatory few to patronize those ideological authorities who best lead communities of faithful believers into war with one another over differences of opinion in matters of faith.

Conservative ideological authorities use the lie that myth is truth to maintain authority, power, order and control over communities of faithful believers and motivate their members to support the establishment of a theocracy within a fundamentalist state. Maybe such a theocracy functions in practice as a front for a global shakedown of epic proportions some call a 'war on terror'. Maybe such a theocracy helps to concentrate the wealth of the global culture into the hands of a mercenary plutocratic predatory few who prey upon the many of our global culture. Maybe conservative ideological authorities use aggressive ideological traditions that originated before the establishment of ancient paternalistic theocracies to lead many millions of followers to gleefully look forward to a catastrophic war said to precede return of a good one in Heaven to Earth control. Maybe some believe that an evil one must rise to power before this catastrophic war can take place. Maybe because of this belief that an evil one must rise to power some unconsciously support the rise to power of whom ever they consider a good candidate for an evil one. Maybe this ends up creating a string of bad leaders.

Have nots will always go to war with the haves. Haves will fight to keep what they have from the have nots. Basic history lesson. Jesus said to feed the hungry and take care of the needy. Communism is about taking from the haves. More people have died in a shorter period of time from communists than from any other idealogy on earth. Oh yeh, communism is an atheistic doctrine. Hmmmm. And there are those in the White House that view Chairman Mao and Castro as heroes. We are either going to the fields like good proletariat, or fight. History repeats.

I seriously doubt it. most countries were founded religiously. Atheists couldn't possible form another country unless a world war destroyed the layout of today and they formed themselves like the British did Israel.

I don't think religion leads to war. I think the lust for power and greed lead to war. Even apes have fights for territory and attack smaller apes to eat their young. I think there is a part of man that is very dark and aggressive. In the next 100 years we will no doubt have many wars. Let's hope no one goes nuclear and wipes us all out.

Religion has often been an excuse and continues to be a way for different sides in a conflict to inflame people to rally against an enemy, although the actual factors in the conflict generally have more to do with...shall we say...material motives?

No because Atheists are not fanatics like the Believers are. We don't get nuts about it. We just know the truth and we sit by quietly waiting for the rest of you to figure it out.

You don't see us knocking on doors or on TV programs, do you?

No- I think science men will do.
Don't give me wrong - I love science - but ,if science men and religious men don't reunite their teachings, it will be a second Atlantis in our world.
I believe that science and faith(not religions) are the both sides of the same coin - why don't you all see that?
