It's sad that your cousin is so old fashioned....nobody calls Jeff Gordon the Rainbow Warrior anymore. I'm happy for Jr making the move to Hendrick and it doesn't matter if Jeff Gordon is his teammate. Next year should be a better one!

What part of joing HMS makes Jr. a Rainbow Warrior? That "honor" is reserved for Gordon, and Gordon alone (except for you). Johnson, Busch and Mears are not rainbow warriors either! Why put Jr. in the same group?

Oh puhleeze. They may race for the same owner, but they each have a different sponsor who they need to keep happy. How do you keep a sponsor happy? Win races, or finish in the top 5 or10 consistently. Do you think they'll be able to make happy sponsors if the drivers don't continue to race as seperate teams? Look at Johnson, Gordon OWNS that car, but do you see Johnson slipping back to let Gordon take the lead when it's come down to the wire? Heck no. Johnson has a responsiblity to Lowes to perform to the best of his ability. I think it will be every man for himself, when the dust settles anyway.

Well, I don't really care for Jr., but I hope his fans don't start following the Rainbow Warrior as well. I rather see the competition between fan bases.

I think Jeff will continue to be a cry baby and Dale Jr will not be a part of that. I hope that Jr will be the best in that stable but Gordon is their baby.

why should anyone stop liking dale jr. just because he's going to be driving #88? if jeff gordon wasn't driving #24, i'd follow him no matter where he goes. i like the driver, not the car.
