I have always felt that I had the ability to induce dreams on other people (usually sexual ones), even though it seems like a pretty weird thing and I don't particularly feel like it's anything special... mostly weird, haha.
Anyway, it's this nagging feeling at the back of my mind like "oh you want them to dream this? you can make them dream it, go ahead!" and I just feel like it's totally possible for me..
So, once I tried it with my boyfriend and it was a major success... He called me up and said that he had this great sex dream, and added the details that made me sure it was my fault. I've tried inducing different dreams for my friends, but they usually don't say anything about it unless I ask. But when I remember to ask, it always seemed to have worked.

I do sometimes practice various psychic tests like card guessing, mind reading and searching for missing things, but I never cared for the dream thing. Funny how it's the only thing I am "good" at.

But I was just wondering if anyone else has the same ability? I tried looking it up on the Internet, but it's really difficult to find what I am talking about. I also think that since I can induce dreams, I want to try "collective dreaming" or "dreamscaping". That might work?
It's hard to tell because there isn't a lot of people that can do the same thing. I really want to learn more about it, because I have just been ignoring this 'skill' until now; now I am actually interested on how to improve it.
Is there anyone that can help?

It is called Dream Telepathy, and here is a link to a book talking about telepathy in dreams and other things. A university conducted experiments on it. Telepathy can be used for good or ill. Edgar Cayce, a leading psychic of the first half of the 20th Century, had this ability, but would not use it. .

Why do you want to manipulate people that way? Do you get some sort of thrill out of thinking you can affect another's thoughts? Do you believe that you are doing this while you are asleep, or telpathically trying to influence people, or do you plant a seed thought on someone during the day, and see if it takes root when they go to sleep? Do you think it is ethical to set out to influence others in this way? If it is that you are trying to telepathically induce another's dream, you are doing so on people you have an established relationship with, so there is likely to be some level of telepathy going on between you. On the other hand, it is possible your boy friend had a great sex dream because he is a horny young man, and got some of his ideas from conversations you have had with him......if it is the only thing you are "good" at, maybe you need to practice some other skills to become good at.........
Collective dreaming, as I understand it, is a communal dream for the good of the tribe....dreamscaping, as you call it, still brings me back to wondering why you want to manipulate people that way, you're not talking about wanting to use these skills to heal people, or help them with problems, just stuff about wanting to induce sex dreams in others for some kind of thrill?????????? Power corrupts, and abosolute power corrupts absolutely, if you really think that you have been given a gift of this sort, part of what comes with it is a responsibility to use it well, lest misuse of it should lead you down the path of Freddy Krueger, is that what you want?
