Where can I find a hairpin trigger for my Savage Stevens Model 200 .30-06. I had the trigger pull reduced as much as possible but I would like to have it even lower.

Since your rifle is a standard Savage 110 without the Accu-Trigger, any trigger designed for pre-Accu-Trigger Savage center-fires should work. Gunsmith fitting may be required.

Take your pick:
Rifle Basix 'EZ Pull': http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=10077&title=SAVAGE+%22E-Z%22+PULL+TRIGGER
Timney 'Featherweight': http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=13128&title=SAVAGE+10%2f110+FEATHERWEIGHT+TRIGGER
Sharp Shooter Supply 'Competition Trigger Kit': http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=7389&title=SAVAGE+COMPETITION+TRIGGER

I bought a used 10FP with a Rifle Basix, and it adjusts down to a little less than a pound. Definately not for a rifle you're going to carry around loaded!

There are a few options for making the trigger pull lighter but please keep this in mind. Lightening the trigger pull below 3 or 4 pounds is usually only done on competition guns. If you are going to compete with it then go for it. If you use this rifle to hunt with you do not want to make the trigger too light. If something was to happen and the gun fell or was bumped it could go off. Have a gunsmith or an armor install the trigger for you so you know it is as safe as possible. All of these things should be discussed with a gunsmith or a Savage armor before you do anything. Good luck, have fun but PLEASE be careful.

You don't want a "Hair" trigger, you want an Adjustable Trigger. There is a difference. As a Gunsmith there are any number of adjustable triggers that can be fitted to your Savage/Stevens Model 200 30-06 Rifle..These can be adjusted down to as light as 3.5 lbs safely. To attempt to do this by filing or grinding can result in accidental discharge and injury, not to mention death......

Bad Idea> Forget about it.* Your trigger pull can't be that bad.* Remember> Breathe, Relax, Aim, Squeeze, Fire...** You are suppose to squeeze the trigger not pull it.* Surely you can adapt yourself to the present trigger pull.** I can't believe you are not satisfied with the way it is considering you already had it lightened.*

A point is reached, where it will become a safety hazard. From what you are telling me, you are deliberately trying to cause a potentially deadly firearm discharge by this reckless action.
