i am taking my driving test next weekend in PA. and i was wondering if we're allowed to tap the curb or not. cuz thats what i keep doing, either that or im too far from the curb.

i line up my car next to the other car or cone, and turn my wheel all the way to the right, back up to 45 degree angle, and turn my wheel to the left. and straighten up. i do get it right sometimes, but most of the time im either too far or i touch the curb and i'd have to fix it. what can i do? i kno more practice btu it feels like im doing the same thing over and over and im not improving.

Usually you have three chances to park correctly, it's okay to rub the curb but not hit it hard (automatic fail). You also have one correction move if your too far away from the car in front of you.
What you don't mention while parking is if you straighten the wheels before cranking it to the left.
In your driving manual it goes through the steps you require to do for a perfect parallel park job, every time. It may help you figure out what your doing wrong.

Hitting the curb is a big "No-no" as is leaving the vehicle more than a foot away. If you can't park it, you're probably not ready to drive. Either practice or reschedule your appointment. You're not going to pass as long as you can't park a vehiccle properly. Good luck!
