Moon, I learned today that people sometimes don't ask because they are afraid you don't want them to. They don't want to upset you or feel it's none of their business.
Sometimes, I don't ask because I am not sure I really want to know. : ) Terrible, isn't it?

When i don't ask, it can mean a lot of things like :

-i don't want know further
- i don't like to get involved
- i'm not interested
- maybe it's a stupid move
- i don't have the right to ask
- or i would rather listen than to ask
- or i don't know the answer to the question
- i don't really care at all

It can mean many different things. I've been in situations where I didn't ask, because I didn't want to know something. But I've also not asked, because it's none of my business, I was trying to be discreet, I didn't know how to ask in a proper way, I knew I would offend someone or I didn't know the person well enough to ask.

Sometimes people don't ask because they know that the answer they are going to receive is not what they want to hear, not for their convenience, so not asking could be a sign of fear or simply an excuse to latter say "I didn't know"

It could very well be - I've mentioned it a few times - some people cling to their beliefs like money or possessions. They are merely thoughts.

The true nature of your mind is empty. This is not something to "try" for but something to "achieve."

If you do not ask, then you will not know

sometimes...it depends on the situation.

maybe i want to know, but i don't want to embarrass anyone.

perhaps i'm afraid of the answer...

sometimes i think that if they want me to know then they'll tell me.

sometimes i ignore all of those things and ask anyways!

bright blessings to you ((moon))

Not necessarily. Maybe you just don't know what questions to ask, maybe you do know already, it could be because you don't want to appear to be ignorant, or it could be because you're plain shy.

Not always so on this place, many use this just to poke fun or mock others with the most banal and stupid remarks.

I'm more the opposite: if I know, why ask; if I don't know, I'll ask and accept or reject the response.
