My husband has A LOT of body hair and he didn't have any until after he turned 19 and went overseas for two years to the Philippines. We waxed his back once, but he bled all over and it was so painful I don't want him to do that again. Is there an alternative to hair removal that doesn't cause serious pain or cost thousands of dollars (ie, laser hair removal)? Also, can anyone explain why he didn't have any body hair his whole life and came back from the Philippines like a gorilla?

there is cream that you can use. it's called NAIR its painless, but it grows back faster than if you would remove it with wax. Allot of men do it nowadays.

It tends to happen between 18 and 25...it's normal. If you want to get rid of it painlessly and cheap, use a razor. An electric razor may have extra safety for certain regions...

His hormones changed.... a young man doesn't completely quit developing until he is about 25 years old or so!!!
You can go to your local beauty store and see if they have a way to remove it that is both painless and affordable.

waxing is the best option
waxing makes the hair thin and weak
shaving and other methods makes the hair grow back quickly

electrolysis. I have no idea why he came back a gorilla. Genetics, enviroment, multifactoral? who knows.

Get him a bikini wax, and a bikini to go along with it.

It's there because he grew up. Leave it alone. If it didn't belong there, it wouldn't be growing there.
