I see a lot of good answers but still people getting thumbs down. What purpose does it serve to thumbs down someone for no reason?

People seem to give thumbs down just because they disagree or don't like the same driver as you. It's pretty childish.

Several schools of thoughts.
1- Most fans are closed minded.If the answers does not favor their driver it is wrong.
2- Older fans have watched the growth of the sport over the last 20 to 40 years and have seen the changes as they are forming today's events and we speak of experience and not favoritism.
3-Today's drivers are GQ or Glamor boys and this attracts fans that are looking for eye candy and if they get criticized this offends the fan thus thumbs down.

I think that they give a thumbs down because they disagree with the answer.....which really isn't right.
The only time I give a thumbs down is when the answer is blatantly wrong or immature. There are many answers that I disagree with, but they're still good answers.

Because what's good to you might not be good to other people. I think this is a good answer, but I'm sure someone will think it's not and give me thumbs down. That just the way things go. People have their own opinions.

First I think they must just seem good to you and your not every body.
Second I don't think it matters does it? The Q asker ultimately pick the best answer. I think.
If some thing is good I know and if it's bad see ya.

They are giving thumbs down if they dont like who your driver is......atleast that's my theory...cuz i have seen really great answers that were right but.......if your driver is not one they like well.....you know!!!
I say oh well....i know if im giving a decent answer and if i am thumbed down for who my driver is and not my answer well that's the way it is then....no skin off my a**!!! LOL......
Dont worry Tina....the people that do this are just being immature a**h**es!!!!

Personally, whether I get a thumbs down, or thumbs up, doesn't affect me what-so-ever.....My answers, are my opinions, and I only give thumbs down to absurd, irrelevant, or misinformed answers....
I give thumbs up, to answers that are witty, funny, or right-on-the-money.........
