Are they expecting you or requesting you to do something. It is just disturbing when they point their rear at you and give you this look. I honestly believe they want you to do, "something"

I have a female bird (parrot) who gets extremely sexy this time of year. She squats down in her food dish, vibrates and whines and moans with pleasure. Right now, it's going on probably 4-5 times a day. She is banded, so probably it's late spring in Brazil now. She gets turned on when my husband comes into the room, but if I let her out with him, she would attack him.

Lacking a tomcat, they still follow the instinct set by nature to "present" themselves for mating.

There's no need to do anything. God, think how ugly the kittens would be!

They are just in a state of arrousal.. they'll point it at anyone, and roll and rub and well, whatever they can get away with. Don't touch them when they're in this state, it'll only make them worse.

it is their instinct. there is nothing you can do unless you are a big cat yourself.
as you said, they feel the eat and it is a way to loosen out smells / odours which in turn attract cats, in fact cats do smell cats back.

That's all that's on their mind at that time. Have her fixed, her life will be easier and there are already so many unwanted cats in this world.

Um, yeah, they are in heat, and like you to help them out. I'm sure we've all been there. Hey, to stop that behavior, get her spayed.

You've answered your own question although i suggest you leave it to a tom to sort the problem out.
