It isn't a stupid question. It doesn't have to be cooked, but the pizza is better if you do. You can either fry or bake the sausage for 5 to 10 minutes to render the fat. Drain the sausage, and add to the pizza. All the fat that's left over is what WON"T be in your pizza.

Yes indeed.Try sauteeing small chunks of the sausage in a skillet, draining and place it on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

Then sausage can be placed 'under' the cheese when your building the pie.(the cheese will hold the sausage in place as its cooking)

well if the sausage is already cooked than it will be fine if the sausage has not been cooked you will need to cook it before you put it on the pizza

definately cook the sausage first! saute it in a pan til it get nice and crispy for extra great flavor. add it to the pizza when cooked and enjoy!!

cook it first as the time the pizza is in the oven isnt enough to throuughly cook the sausage!!

I would definitely cook the sausage and drain off the fat it before you put it on your pizza.
If you don't, your pizza will be laden with fat and more than likely your sausage will be raw.....and....

No--it is not a stupid question at all !!

Yes! Unless it is a pepperoni or salami type of sausage it is raw and it will not thoroughly cook on the pizza.

Yes, I would cook the sausage. You do not want anyone getting food poisoning.

yes....always cook your meat prior to placeing it on the pizza. You want to make sure itis cooked and 10 /15in theovenis not enough time to ensure it will be fully cooked.

plus the grease is nasty.
