Yes, religious nuts, any other kind of nuts, and even sane people are welcome so long as they are reasonably polite.
The category is Religion & Spirituality because that is the TOPIC of the QUESTIONS posted here. It does not imply anything about who answers those questions, or even who asks them. If a question or answer is offensive, we can report it. But it is not fair to report it just because you disagree with it. The fact that way too many people were doing that is a major reason why the rules and method of reporting has recently changed. The Y!A team is now making it obvious that they will punish those who report without justification.
Yes, we get tired of certain nuts, but that doesn't mean we can get rid of them as long as they are reasonably polite. They don't really need to be reasonable, but they need to be polite.

everyone has a right to be here as long as they can adhere to the guidelines set forth. all have a right to share their views, and to learn of other views. and what is the exact definition of a religious nut? it's all in the mind of the person reading their question or answer, everyone has an opinion of crazy, or nutty, weird, normal, sane, smart, dumb, inconsiderate, etc. not everyone will agree on the persons said nuttiness, to one, a man can be a nut, yet to another the same man can be completely normal in their book, so where do we draw the lines of normalcy?

i like cashews' ecumenical strategies-set, yet i locate that pecans tend to lean in the direction of questionable doctrines. Peanuts are many times mainstream believers, at the same time as Macadamia nuts could be a splash too fanatical. Hazel nuts oftentimes discover solace in Unitarianism, and almonds are often Buddhist. and don't even get me began on English walnuts.

Smiley,
GOD created all kinds of nuts. HE created peanuts, walnuts, Macadamia, pecans, and many others. There are nuts of all kinds and shapes. When we speak of people being "nuts" we are actually referring to the many differences in people. People come in all shapes, sizes, races, religions, and have many different views on each and every topic. Some of us just care about you more than you even care about yourself. I believe that this forum is nice because it allows us to respond to and converse with one another very regularly and allows us to refine our search for the TRUTH whatever you may believe it to be. I am a Christian but I do believe you have an equal right to your own beliefs. Have a wonderful week.
Thanks,
Eds
By the way... I really do care about each and every one of YOU!

But they are not tired of "religious nuts" posting in R&S. We're all entitled to an opinion not matter how stupid it is.

Who is the judge who evaluates what constitutes a "religious nut"? Is it a committee or something? How do you get on the board?

They absolutely do. And for the record, I seriously doubt that any sane person would consider you to be one of the nuts :)

Define "nut." Everyone has a right to be here, to share, question, debate, express their beliefs, and hopefully learn something. "Nut" is a relative term. Just because you disagree with someone doesn't mean your opinion is any more valid than theirs. Everyone should be welcome here. And everyone should be free to be nutty from time to time.
