I think the culprit is the Deli Cat...it contains dyes...which correspond to your reddish brown vomit. Many cats cannot tolerate those dyes.
Take away the Deli Cat and just feed the Fancy Feast for about a week and see if the vomiting subsides. When you feed, add a can of water to the can of food and mix until it is soupy or mushy. This keeps the food moist and also gives kitty more of the water she needs. Also, I use bottled or filtered water, our tap water has a terrible taste!
I have attached a link to an article that was on Yahoo Pets about a week ago that addresses nighttime activity. I hope it will give you some hints to stop her from waking you!
Purrs for you and kitty.

Take her to the vet! Also you should have been feeding her the same diet your friend had her on and change it slowly. She is sad and confused that after 6 years her owner gave up on her...It's like losing your best friend or even a mother. You need to help her feel loved again She knows that your upset at her and tries to wake you at night to see if your OK and she gets lonely. But she needs to see a vet ASAP! Good Luck with her.

Occasional hairballs are one thing but vomiting 5 times in one week is excessive. The best advice I can give you is to see your vet as soon as possible.
Good luck with your kitty!!

She could have a hair ball blocking her intestines, you should really take her to the vet. I imagine she does worry when you give her the cold shoulder, they are like people and need to have that caring touch when they are sick

She may be being sick because she has swallowed some of her own fur.
See if there is any fur in the sick (ugh sorry)!! If so that is called a fur ball and you can get treatment for that from the local pet store.

Yes, please take your kitty to the vet if this persists. Other than that, change her diet to a high quality dry (only) food. Also, buy a product called Petromalt which is given to treat and prevent hairballs. My cat really loves it and has no idea it's medicine.

can food is bad for the cat's teeth .the vet has not mentioned that to you ? I would figure that the food is upsetting her tummy. try something solid and if it works stay with it .they like us have o have stability in the diet , that requires love 2 you know they want the luvin when they want it not when want to give it. abig cat lover.
