Hello Johnny V;
What otherwise are you speaking of? You are not thinking of the opposite, are you? We cannot fully understand God. What He is, why He does what He does. All we know is that He loved us enough, to send His Son Jesus to die a horrible death and suffer the consequences of sin, so we would not have to! The punishment that Jesus received was our recompense for our disobedience.
The following verses from the book of Isaiah is the best way to understand who God is. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

We worship God for all that he has done for us & n advance 4 all the things he is/will do n our lives the bible says, " All GOOD things come from God." It is God who enables and wills us to do.
Did u eat 2day? Do are u clothed? Do u have a roof over u're head? Are u able 2 get 2 work? R u able 2 pay u're bills? and of those things we have not all we have to do is Ask, Believe (Believing n Faith) & Recieve

True worship is not the entertaining mood-making we usually see in large money-making congregations. When Jesus went up the mountain to pray, that was for the Prayer of Worship. This type of prayer is meditative and very focused. It is the basis of real Christian spiritual power. Please read Agnes Sanford's The Healing Touch of God.

LOL! That's an interesting question. Does an ocean worship a drop of itself? Let's try this another way.
God loves us because we are actually a part of the energy that it is. Simply an extension of that energy "body" Don't you love the parts of your own body? But in a way, when we worship God, God is worshiping himself/herself/itself by extension.

Yeah, just like our parents should give in to our every whim and let us do whatever we want to with no consequence whatsoever from the day we're born. Read your Bible, get to know Him. You'll realize He's worth of worship.

Yes, God loves us and all the more reason to worship Him.
God loves you and "God will not let you go. He has handcuffed himself to you in love. And he owns the only key. You need not win his love. You already have it. And since you can't win it, you can't lose it."

What have we done for him ? Except screw up his world and his commandments . We should be so glad that we have a loving and merciful creator that's offering eternal life and doesn't let us all go to hell or annihilate us on the spot. To God be the glory ! www.fbbc.com

Love is supposed to be reciprocal. I am not sure about worship but the question is a good one.
