Because, God wanted to give us the freedom to 'choose' to love, honor, serve, and obey Him. By not having the choice, we would be just mindless, heartless, &spiritless puppets or robots or something. There is no joy in that! Certainly no ability to demonstrate love. Which is God's greatest attribute! Which would you rather have? A robotic dog or a live adorable, puppy who has the potential to respond to your attention with it's own expression of personal affection?. It's all about choice. When you love, you honor, with trust and have respect for the 'guidelines' establised by the 'Subject' of that love. Yes, satan was already there, but he was originally sent there to establish God's plan for us. his jealousy of us, overuled his willingness to follow God's objective. he was then reduced to the slithering serpent, known as satan the accuser. The angels in Heaven honor God's wisdom in all things. Only the ones that were decieved by lucifer questioned God's design and purposes for His creation.

God could certainly have done what you suggest, but then, existence would be very different and I don't think in a positive way. Just because God knows what we'll choose in advance doesn't mean we don't have the option to make a choice with free will - God's pre-omniscience does not effect or really even relate to our free will. And so, if men and women were never given options to to the right thing over the wrong, I think human existence would be long extinct. The question to ask is, would humans be satisfied with a perfect world where there are no goals to attain, no victories to achieve and no negatives to hold up for comparison against the positives. Such an existence seems less fulfilling to me that the struggles we go through now - our lives are difficult, yes, but I prefer it over being God's pet in a padded room where I can't hurt myself.

"How else could he attempt obeidence to his word". of course--before eating of the tree they have been bare and knew it no longer--and the undeniable fact that the tree has the fruit of awareness of excellent and evil. a splash rational concept right here please. in the event that they did no longer have awareness of precise and incorrect-good and evil--they did no longer "be attentive to" there grew to become into something incorrect with nudity--then they actually weren't sentient have been they. How ought to you be obedient while you're actually not sentient. Pavlovian education of a canine, will make a canine obiedient specially circumstances (burglary, take a seat, stay, heel and so on) however the canine would not be attentive to what's sweet or incorrect. the canine purely is familiar with after it does a definite action that some form of punishment or reward will happen. How ought to eating of this tree possibily be a sin-while Adam and Eve could have had to have had that awareness to commit that sin. is mindless in any respect. And in my view, if it grew to become right into a call between residing like an animal in eden or scratching the earth for nutrients and being a rational being--i do no longer view that tale by way of fact the autumn of guy, yet his upward thrust from the animal kingdom.

Even though I know most people in this forum are here just stir up a lot of hate and contention and probably won't consider ideas that are unknown to them but would rather tenaciously cling to man made and corrupt tradition I will go ahead and give you my answer:
Do you not remember God to have commanded Adam and Eve to multiply and replenish the Earth( Genesis 1:28 ), does this not mean to have children?
If they were as innocent as children then how would they know how to have children?
Little children don't know how to do that.
Thus were they in a state of disobedience by not multiplying...
Yet they had the choice before them and God allowed the serpent to tempt them or in other words to remind them, unknown to the tempter, they had a choice to make.
I believe this is what they call a "catch 22" situation: obey and don't eat the fruit and disobey by not multiplying or disobey and eat the fruit and thus be able to multiply and have children.
If they had never partaken of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil then we would never have been born on this Earth at all and we would not be here now having this conversation.
I consider it a beautiful and wonderful thing to have been born because of Adam and Eve's transgression, I consider them to be heroes because they did get up the courage to make the choice to further our Father in Heaven's plan of salvation by partaking of the fruit and thus becoming wise and being able to discern between good and evil just as each of us are and allowing us to be born.
It isn't that God wanted sin, he wanted us to be able to choose.
You cannot destroy something that is eternal which would be everything in existence including our existence as intelligent beings in or out of a body. That would include Satan. He was, as we read in the book of Revelations, cast out along with a third of the hosts of heaven (revelation 12)
The idea that the world remaining in a paradisaical state even if we could be born in that state of existence is a Satanic concept as it was his plan to force all of God's children back into heaven with no choices to make between good and evil, no way to grow and become like God is and do what he does. There would have been no way to know bitter from sweet in all things.

God gives us free will he never forces anything upon us. With every temptation he makes a way 2 escape. As for Satan he is already defeated the victory has already been won by Jesus' work on the cross He has the keys to death, hell and the grave.
So long as we are in this world we are exposed to temptations, and need ever to be on our watch against them.

No. GOD put it their for a test of our loyalty! GOD told them not to eat. That should have been sufficient. However, they did eat. The problem was that sin could arise at any time! Whether Satan was there or not. Satan was NOT evil always, He used to be one of the highest angels in GOD's kingdom. Every angel loved him until pride crept into his heart.
Read Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14 to get the picture.
GOD bless

a and e couldnt have knowledge without the tree and it was all in the plan to teach them to extort money from those they were superior too. If you search the Adam and Eve Myth enough you will find lots of reasons that it make little or no sense.

The evils are part of God's creation only to check how good you would be to overcome it or how bad you would go down for it!
So, the forbidden fruit was also made by the God to create the point of genesis of mankind!

he wanted adam and eve to realize they didn't obey him. he put it there so if they ate it they would realize they don't even listen to God when he tells them not to eat from a certain tree. God was testing them. we are all tested by God in our daily lives. we could just not have a good day at work or school, and if we turn to God and ask him to help us through these times instead of blaming him for them...well...then we pass and are stronger in faith than before.

the testing idea doesn't work if you believe god to be omniscient. if he has knowledge of the future; then he already knows what will happen.it could only be a test if he didn't know what was going to happen. also if he has knowledge of the future then it is predetermined because the future already exists, so there is no free will only predetermined actions. no free will, no sin. either god is not all knowing or humans have no free will.
