She needs to send a Red Cross Message. Contact the Red Cross and they can arrange it for you.

Secondly, no, he cannot get visitors until graduation day.

Once the Red Cross Message gets to him, the unit and Chaplin will make coordinations with his Drill Sergeants to contact her and make whatever arrangements need to be made.

This usually takes less then 24 hours.

So she is going to have an abortion if she can not go see him in basic training? Wow! Red cross is the only way to get ahold of him until graduation day. It is not going to be THAT long of a wait, tell her to just to sit back and wait, she has 40 weeks of waiting to do and he will be out of boot camp well before then!

As others have stated, she needs to talk to the Red Cross to send him a message. If she doesn't want to do that, she will just have to wait until he graduates from boot camp.

However, I don't understand why she would have an abortion just because she can't talk to him. If they are dating, that would be very wrong of her to abort a baby before she talked to him. That will probably cause a lot of trust issues and ruin their relationship.

Yes. American Red Cross message. Contact your local chapter and ask to speak with a military caseworker. They will need to verify the pregnancy with a doctor...after which they can deliver the message to the service member's command and request that he be allowed to call your friend.

And yes they can send a message even if she is not his wife...she will simply be listed as 'service friend.' However, the fact that he is unaware is key, as no pregnancy messages can be sent beforehand barring some type of complications.

i've got been for the period of the cs chamber @ citadel Leonard timber... we had to recite the warriors creed, do area straddle hops, and push ups.. haha, oh some good situations occurred in that chamber. It seems such as you're loss of life, yet as quickly as you get out, you like to flow lower back in.. bear in techniques.. drink lots of milk that day ;)

no, you may not visit someone while in Basic Training. the only way to contact them is by letter.

as they are not married, it's possible the American Red Cross will not be able to help at all.
