No they aren't suppose to allow him to the gate without a ticket for travel. The airline you are flying should be able to provide assistance if needed.

No,the reason why is TSA (Transportation Security Administration) wants to limit the amount of people that can go to the gates. This is mainly for security reasons due to the heightened security alert. You can ask a airline agent or skycap for additional assistance in the gate area.

Nope, Federal regulations do not allow a non-ticketed person past security checkpoints.

If you need assistance, ask for assistance at the check-in counter from the airline. They will provide a motorized cart at the security checkpoint to your gate.

depends on the airport rules & airline, but if they won't let HIM,
just ask for help from their staff,
they usually have employees who help disabled or children traveling alone
they might let you board early, since you'll have your hands full !!!
i'd contact the airline before the trip so things can be arranged as soon as you arrive & before your departure
happy traveling !!!!

It may be possible for your husband to get a special pass from the ticketing area to accompany you. Check with the airline.

I really doubt it. Better contact the airport your flying out of to ask.

Best to figure you have to suck it up and do it on your own. What about when you land and deplane at your destination????

Yes he can. Just pretend that he is going with you. So have him park in the parking lot and all of you go to check your bags. When you check them ask if you can get a buddy pass for him.

Make sure you get the buddy pass because your husband might need it to go through security.

Hope I helped!
