Definitly name her Oprah! That is an awesome name and it is certainly not racist!!! I too and sick of all the Salem, Smokey, Shadow names and I wish more people would give their pets original names. Oprah would be a great name for a cat especially if you admire her youself!

How about Satchmo, or Action Jackson( Jackson)? So what if these are black associated??!!! My cats who had these names were just great cats, and the names suited. Satch had a white patch over one lip, like the mark the trumpet player had after playing...
