It's The Shasta Dam in Shasta Lake City in California blocking up the Shasta Lake, and the mountain is Mount Shasta.... I think they like the name Shasta around here.

Ha, I was going to say it looks like a cell phone shot. The horizon is tilted, other than that, it's probably as good as you'll get from a cell phone.

The beauty of your photo is you have covered the earth, water, mountain, green surface,sky, etc., These are all five important matters for the nature. Good keep it up, I enjoyed the photo and I felt that I have gone personally to see them. You have not given any particulars about the place and dam details. Yours,

It's great, but very small and poor resolution. You must have shrunk it a lot, right? So the original would be 50X better, IMO. Other than that, I love the view and the colour of the lake. Great place to be!
