He definately can, just practice first holding something that weighs about the same as your dress.

I've seen it done a few times and I'd say many of those the groom was a little suprised at the extra weight from all the bridal stuff and almost dropped the poor bride and/or knocked her head on the car putting her in.

Personally I just won't take the risk.

I've never seen that happen, and I've been to a lot of weddings! Usually the bride and groom walk to the limo holding hands. But if you want to, you should go for it, it would be cute!

Up to you. I always thought the groom just carried her over the threshold of their new home.....or into their honeymoon suite. I have never heard of him carrying her out of the wedding. I thought they just ran out, hand in hand together.

My husband carried me over the threshold to our home - This is something that is very customary... Are you nervous about this...? You shouldn't be. However, I have not heard about to the limo or from the limo.. But nothing says that you don't have to.

He carried me over the threshold of the bridal suite on our wedding night, but that's it...

But if he wants to...or the bride wants him to, they oughta go for it!

Some people still do, it's part of tradition, you can read here if you like: http://www.helium.com/tm/374081/there-several-different-explanations
I'm not sure if I would want to be carried or not, he might drop me or something and then ruin the dress. =P

He didn't carry me into the room. He did carry me into the bed though. I think he thought that was more important lol...

My husband thought about that but I said no, I didn't want to end up on America's Funniest Home Videos.
