Question

Why does love feel like u've thrown ur heart away
You give an take but nothing works
You laugh you cry
And constantly wonder why,
things will end up this way
I dream at night
that he is the one
the one that lied
cheated
broke my heart
made me cry
took my self respect
my diginity and
now i cant get myself back
u broke me down
laughed with your friends
told me you loved me and
where did it end up.
No where Can anyone answer why does love hurts?

All that infatuation stuff isnt love. Its EXTREME like, its all emotional.
real Love is unconditional and God gives that the best. and your family too.

but dont mix up Love and Feelings.

Feelings go up and down and all around and the person that makes you 'feel' the best has the capablity of making you 'feel' the worst.

Feelings and Emotions hurt b.c it does.

The saying: "Love hurts." is a misconception.
Allow me to make a proper correction.
Love has no strings; it's a God-given prize.
You're just feeling emotions, which are Love in disguise.

Feelings are uncertain, and never stand on solid ground,
While Love is almost tangible, although it's scarcely found.
Love doesn't hurt, because it isn't taken for granted.
Emotions are curved, skewed and slanted.

Today, I hope I've answered you plea,
And all of those who also heard me.
Love and emotion are different as dogs and sheep.
True Love makes you cry for joy, misplaced emotions make you weep.

Yes love hurts. Its a sad truth and by the way....I love that poem or story or whatever you want to call it. :D

I ponder this everytime I see my first true love. He walks down the halls, so confident in himself, and that is what hurts.
He has a girl already and does not have time for me.
We are friends, buddies, I could call it. Yet, he strokes her fingers, and stands by her when shes mad. This is what sickens me. Or maybe, its just jealousy. I do not know which, for my heart is just as confused as my head. My whole body system is a jumbled mass of hatred and pure red love. I don't know what to do from here on. I DO know that I must keep my head up, keep traveling on in life, because I know there are more fish in the sea, whom I will fall in love with, only to forget later on. We cannot prevent the hurt that love brings, because it is inevitable......and our hearts will survive, despite the doubt we have. Hold on girl, hold on. And the best of luck to you.

my best guess is::

becuase you loved him

you loved him and he treated you like trash, like a toy, like nothing

love hurts because we didnt get what we wanted back : the one we love and thats why it hurts so much to know that we could've had him, but then he goes and pretends like we never existed

as you said: the one that lied, cheated, broke my heart

thats why it hurts because when someone we trust and love, lies, cheats, and breaks our heart, our brains cry out " come back!"

i understand how you're feeling, so condolince on this situation

one thing though: do not become bitter and come to hate the world

It hurst because immature little girls put all of who they are and wrap it around this guy. Then they put the guy upon a pedestal and expect him to act like the man of their dreams or some character in a movie. Then they get mad and disappointed when reality sets in and it's not like their fantasy.

hi miss love hurts i under stand i have the same prob all i can figure out is just look to tomarrow time can heal all wounds but you truely never forgetting or loving
