Hello tony cool:

Before setting up your website, check with your Council's policy for unit web pages.

If you want a free site, start a Yahoo! group. You won't get a domain name, but you won't have to pay, and it is rather easy to post files and send messages to everyone.

If you really have to have your own domain name, and know how to write html and transfer files, try http://www.webnow.com. They are based in Hawaii, web support is non-existent, but the domain and web hosting are only 19.95 a year. Most places won't even register your domain name for this amount.

Stay away from Go-Daddy you don't want anything to do with them.

Keep on Scoutin'

You can start at BSAUSA.org and they can point you in the right direction they may even have a spot for your group already setup. if not Yahoo is free and just be careful about what you put out there as far as pictures and personal info.
