Is it normal when you have depression to imagine bad things happening to people you love. Not that you wish bad things to happen but you visualize it happening. Like thats just say your following some one you know some where and you visualize their car flipping or them getting into an accident. Would that be caused by depression or would it be something else?

That's a classic depression symptom - visualising accidents and sudden feelings of dread.

I have alot of bad dreams like that, of people that I love getting hurt or dieing, and I believe that these things could very well happen, I would talk to someone about it. I remember alot of my dreams and I think it is a sign of depression.

no I dont think so unless u secretly hate or constanly worry about the ppl around you, mabey your depression is caused by that! often children with depression will experience dreas such as that and may have dream of friends family etc dying, getting badly hurt ect.

may not be a case of mental depression but may be some thing more serious; like visual hallucinations etc.,.
Better to consult the psychiatrist at the earliest.

No expert here but it sounds like depression to me. Speak to your doctor. He might suggest a little prozac.

possibly anxiety. My daughter has anxiety and panic attacks. She finally had to go on medication to control it. This problem runs in my husband's mother's family.....
