It is not only Catholics!
We believe life is sacred because our life is a gift from God. He is created us IN HIS IMAGE ( meaning with His capacity to love and bring forth life). No other creatures have a conscious knowledge of the Creator. All life comes from God and is sacred to Him!

Surely it's not only Catholics. Any person with morals, with or without religion, would think life is sacred!

We Catholics can't take all the credit, most people of faith and many of none believe that life is a gift and to be valued. For Christians we believe that life is a gift from God and therefore to be respected. The respect for life starts in the womb and to the last days of a person's time on earth. I was always taught that "God gives and God takes away, Blessed be God".

Because all life is a gift from God. I am not a Catholic -but also a Christian. The Human body is a Temple for The Holy Spirit.

He gave us life. He made us in His image. He gave us dominion (lordship) over His creation on earth. Anything God thinks of that highly has GOTTA be sacred!

catholics believe they can sin whenever they want... then go to mass and ask for forgiveness say 10 holy Mary`s and then they are sin free... then go out and do it all over again.. so i don`t think catholics think anything is sacred....Life is sacred being or not being any religion....do you believe life is sacred???????????? atheist need not reply....
