Encourage them to get on medication and to stay on it. Encourage them to talk with their therapist about what is going on, how the medication is working and any side effects they are having with it.

Be there for both of them. :) . BRing him Photos and Books things that are familiar that will keep them in a good mind frame and surrounding them with good people having good fun... ANd on bad days ... just try and be there as often as possible
