No, go to GNC and buy sambucol and follow the directions on the bottle. You can google it. It has been found to be effective against colds and the flu. My sister had one of those really bad colds and took Sambucol and was over it in two days. Zicam is another product that is good for preventing colds

No. I've never heard eating chocolate will get help you get rid of a cold.

A dark chocolate rich in cocoa has a lot of antioxidants, which will help you get over a cold quicker. But milk chocolate, and most chocolates probably won't help much, besides being tasty.

You can not get rid of a cold. You have to let it run its course. Sorry, but I recommend chocolate as a placebo though!

no chocolate is not good for colds drink lots of soup and don't drink milk that gives mucus

No - dairy is bad for making you produce mucus.
It does taste nice though ;-)
The best thing would be citrus fruits for VitC.
