it does stand for Religion and SPIRITUALITY. not religion and christions.
why do they feel that because you don't believe in their christ then you have no religion or spirituality?

One doesn't need religion in order to be interested in religion.

The R & S forum is for those who are interested in religion , not only for those who are religious themselves , or for those of any one belief .
I don't believe that many would agree with you that it's for Christians only . When you're in a country where the vast majority are Christians , you should expect most religious statements and questions to be made by Christians.
In Japan I would expect a lot of Shintoism questions . In Saudi-Arabia , Muslin questions .

If you are upset that Christians are entering discussions about non-Christian topics and having something to say, consider that plenty of non-Christians respond to questions posed by Christians as well, often not too kindly. It's not a crime to be a Christian, and it's not a crime to have an opinion and express it. That is called "freedom of speech," which is a right that we have here in the United States of America. I do think that it would be good if everyone could express their thoughts in a non-bashing sort of way. I honestly only express my beliefs because my Christian faith has been so life-changing for me, and I am grateful. After 10 years of being on antidepressants, I have now been off of them for three years. I am happy and at peace in my life. The little black cloud that used to follow me around is gone, and has been for a long time. You don't have to do what I do. We all have a choice in life. If Christians keep quiet, though, then people will not know of this wonderful choice. (Is it wrong to share about all I've been given when there is so much grief and emptiness in the world?)

I will say one thing with great confidence. These are the words of Jesus, when the Pharisees told him to rebuke his disciples: "I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out." (Luke 19:40, NIV) The Gospel (otherwise known as "The Good News") is a message that you cannot silence.

I've never thought that the R&S category is "just for Christians"...
However, since I am a Christian, I tend to concentrate on the questions that concern me.
Obviously, I couldn't answer a serious question directed at a Buddhist, for example...nor would I try.
Since Atheism is also a faith-based religious belief, Atheists also have a place in this section. I've always said so.

I would be happy, however, if people who just come here to mock and poke fun would find another hobby, since they tend to distract folks from the real purpose for this section, which is to ask and answer serious questions about Religion & Spirituality...
They can be very annoying.

The reason why Christians believe the way they do is because that is what they are taught, and truly, because of how they are taught (with a fear based thought system that tells them to believe otherwise is to invite hell and damnation)they are afraid to believe differently.

Because they are taught that if you are not Christian you could not possibly have any concept of Spirituality (or any accurate concept, in their view) it follows, logically, in their reasoning, that only Christians, or maybe Jews might be interested in Spirituality. Of course, others view that as a very limited viewpoint.

In all fairness to Christians, many are truly more spiritual than religious, they too are evolving on their path, they too are our Relatives. It is more encumbent upon we who ascribe to a belief in the Oneness of ALL things to practice kindness and tolerance...even of Christians who are a bit overzealous.

What makes you say that? Did some Christian say that the forum is just for them?

We're just expressing our opinions, is all. Not necessarily for the benefit of the asker, but perhaps to help out others who might have the same question.

I know that some people feel that way but, I have seen lots of questions and answers that had nothing to do with Christians and they didn't answer either

I don't agree with you. This forum is for those who are interested about religion, and any religion.
