I'm Catholic and I think I know what you're talking about but it would be nice if you specified which secret.
I do not believe that the secret they revealed was the third secret. I believe it was a false document. That or they only released part of the secret. I mean it doesn't say why or how this all happens.

Also many of the miracles such as the fall of Communism in Russia should be attributed to the Pope's private consecration of Russia.

The "secret" has been known by mystics for centuries and "miracles" happen daily for those who know creative visualization.
