anorexia is a disease, not a level of skinniness. however you are severely underweight and likely malnourished. if you avoid eating and, say when you are starving only eat one grape to keep yourself from shutting down... THAT is anorexia. but you definitely need to put on atleast 15 lbs, at the least. i am 5'2" and i weight 110, i'm average. most weight/height calculators i have used online say that at our height 100 lbs is the LEAST you should weigh. you should probably see a physician to make sure that you are healthy and don't have any issues and see about gaining some weight.

Being that I am 5'2 I consider that to be way underweight. At my smallest I was 97 pounds and considered to very skinny. I think a healthy looking weight for you would be about 100 to 110 pounds based on what I am familiar with because of my size.
I dont want to sound offensive but at my smallest I was eating but only about once a day. Maybe you should find some food that you really love and eat more of it.

Anorexia is a condition, most people who are anorexic dont admit it. Anorexics do anything not to eat or to work off what they eat. If you eat and it doesnt bother you, its likely you just have a high metabolism. You can be skinny and not have anything wrong with you. Tell your boyfriend this, and that he really shouldnt be calling you it, because its a very serious condition that shouldnt be thrown about in conversation. Youre quite small anyway, and although youre light, if you look and feel good, then just stay as you are. If you dont eat an awful lot, eat more, and if everyone contiunes to call you it, you can always go to the doctors for proof that you arent.

well i know alot about eating disorders since i have one so dont listen to other people that say anorexics are people that dont eat. thats not true at all. they do eat but not that much or u would die in about 3 weeks and people can have anorexia for years. if you are restricting your calorie intake that is a sign and do u think u are fat even though u r skinny? also have u lost alot of weight in a short amount ot time? i dont know how much weight u lost if u lost any or when u started this so its hard to say. but for me it started in about june when i started not eating junkfood then in july i didnt eat breakfast and for lunch id have a salad and for dinner i would have something very little. by then i prob lost about 5 pounds from june to the end of august. i went from about 100 to about 93. then i went on vacation to california to visit my grand parents for a month and everyday was eating a little piece of chicken for lunch with salad and dinner was anything that was about 200 calories but then at snack i would have snacks that would be about maybe 200 calories. and throughout the day i would workout for about 2 hours. and when i left i was 85 pounds. then i came home and my parents were shocked at how i looked but i still thought i was fat. and i am 5'2 also so i dont think 76 is good. but then a few weeks later my mom put me in a hospital for 3 weeks and i gained about 10 pounds so now im 95. and im still in treatment now and i havent been in school yet and that really sucks. if this sounds like anything you are doing then you should really tell your mom because 76 pounds is really dangerous even if u arent doing these things. please i dont want you to end up like me. hope this helps. :)

Well, even though you weigh 76 pounds, you shouldn't be worried about it since you're 5'2''. It's totally normal.
Anorexia treatments are not for every individual who is underweight. People with anorexia who need assistance are at least 15% below their ideal body weight and refuse to maintain a normal weight for their height. Not everyone who is low weight has this problem. It is people who are purposefully refusing to eat to lose weight that need medical help. Therefore, it really depends on what you eat and how much you eat and not on how much you weigh!

I would say yes unless you have something wrong with you healthwise. I am 5'0" and weighed 90 pounds at 18 and I was very skinny. I usually ate just one meal a day, so if you're 76 pounds I don't see know what you're eating?

Anorexic is when you purposely don't eat to lose weight. If you eat, you aren't anorexic. You are very skinny, not anorexic. You do need to gain weight to be healthy.

Well..Everyone has different body shapes, and being thin is one of them. If you eat enough food daily, and excercise often and your skinny that isn't anorexic. You are pretty thin, but your not anorexic because you do eat, unlike people that don't eat at all. Just try and balance your weight=]

You cannot be diagnosed anorexic merely based on your statistics - as anorexia is a complex mental illness which is diagnosed by behaviours and thoughts.
You are underweight, but if you have a healthy attitude to food and eating then you are not anorexic.
