I'm getting my 2nd tattoo soon. I'm getting a crow on my upper right arm, and it will say Lost underneath. My mom and sister are trying to talk me out of it cause they say it will look tacky.
I just roll my eyes and tell them I'm getting this tattoo, so what do you think?

Yes there is meaning...you'd have to know me to fully understand. But it's to remember my past, so I don't forget who I once was, to remember and finally move on.

Sounds like a great tattoo, reminds of that beautiful bird out of the movie, The Crow. Just make sure your artist is a good one so you don't end up with a "cartoony" look.

It’s your second tattoo so obviously you’re going to do what you want, so keep rolling your eyes and don’t talk about it anymore. I think is depends on the size and the artist, so as long as it’s not some cartoon crow I think it will look cool.

First, picture yourself in a sleeveless wedding dress standing at the alter in front of a room full of people with a crow and lost on your arm. Sound attractive? No.
Then how about the wedding pictures?
No?
Lose the arm tat.
Try your ankle or the small of your back and do not write words on your body. The pictures are enough.

I say get wut you want where you want. I have a spider web on my elbow that will probably look like an old checker board when i'm 50. I have 2 old english letters on hand that will look an ink splatter. I'm gonna get F#$k the world across my chest in old english pretty soon and time is gonna ruin it too, but i don't care nor will i regret getting the ink. The tattoos mean something to me, as your crow does to you, get it and don't regret it and do wut you want.

my first though of this tattoo would also be tacky. But then I'd definitely have to look into the meaning behind it to see if it tells a story. Is there any special meaning behind it?

No, I wouldn't get that one. A lot of my friends have tattoo's. One of my friends Missy has her hole arm covered. It's more flowers and shapes. Women should have a tattoo's on their arms, more in a way of shapes and flowers,Guys are the one that have a saying such as Lost underneath!! Their name or I love mom. Your not always gonna be this age. Everyone has to work to make a living. Keep it sweet and pretty. A lot of my friends have tattoo's across their back, just a bit above their butt. Called a Tribal. Very beautiful.

As long as your old enough to make that kind of decision, its your body and your life.

remember you will have it for the rest of your life.
If you dont like it, black is hard if not impossible to cover.
If you regret it, it will cost a whole lot more to have removed.
It will be one of the 1st things people see and can be a 1st impression.. what kind of statement do you want to make?

How old are you?

If you're still living with your mum, and she's paying for your food, and the house supplies e.t.c., then listen to her, cos you don't want her to kick you out or anything.

BUT if you're living on you're own, over 16 and stuff, then do whatever you want! it's your life, your arm, not theirs!
