Do you know why it is so easy to doubt God''s existance? Is he there?

Why does He hide from our sight? Why does he let bad things happen?

His invisibility reminds me of the "Where is Waldo" children's books!

Do you know about this hard-to-see Waldo?

Why is he wearing goofy glasses, a funny hat and gaudy striped shirts? What is that symbolizing? Normality?!?

What's up with this "Where's Waldo?" business? He is ALWAYS there on every page of the "Where's Waldo?" book series. It's even been occupying the internet geeks on line (as a joke?).

Is Waldo inspired by the difficulty in seeing God in our earthly days?

Is God a speed cop, hiding behind a billboard, so bad souls will give themselves away to our Holy Judge?

Where is God? Do you see a parallel with a hidden God and "Where's Waldo?"

What's it all about Lord?

Open the eyes of my heart

Open the eyes of my heart

Open the eyes of my heart, that I might see!!!

Lord I want to see you!!!

I believe God is true. Not only dooes He exist, but His word is true. i'm trying to timulate a nice legical conversation here.

I'm glad we have a difference of opions here. That's my definition of a good question. "Have at it" Yahoos!

Already, believers and unbelievers have voiced an opinion...do you hear each other?

Even to think up arguments, we need to hear each other out.

I see logic in giving "enough rope to hang themselves" to sinful men who will falsly say God is "unfair" when he seperates them from the people getting into heaven.

If mockers of God, bullies, killers and rapists got into heaven, it would NOT be heaven!!! To hell with them. God, a righteous judge, give a chance to every one (but abortionists to not).

What makes you worthy to see him.

There was a Marine who has served in Iran and Afghanistan. He came back to the states and decided to go back to collage.
One of his classes was instructed by a professor whom was a devote Atheist.
The professor came into the first class and shouted "GOD, If your real, you have 15 minutes to knock me off my feet!"
Almost everyone in the class wondered what the professor was up to.
After 10 minutes he shouted "GOD, IF your real, you now have 5 minutes to knock me off my feet and prove to me that your real!"
At about the 1 minute mark the professor shouted "GOD, You have 1 minute to prove me your real"
The Marine stood up and walked up to the professor and decked him. The professor laid on the floor our cold.
The Marine calmly sat back down. The class was shocked at what had just happened.
After a couple minutes, the professor woke up. He stood up and shouted at the Marine. "Are you out of your mind! What do you think you were doing?"
"Sorry, God was busy protecting our men at war and asked me to intervene!"

You want proof of God. Look at a blooming flower. The sunrise or sunset. Look into the eyes of a child and prove to me that there is no GOD!

certainly. The murdering demon-king of the Bible is indistinguishable from the different blood-hungry middle eastern deity, no count if Baal, Chemosh, which ever. If an ET confirmed up in a spaceship and behaved like Yahweh, say killing the firstborn of the U. S., each and all the fundies may well be headed for the gunsafe to submit a combat basically as i might. I basically does no longer make an exception for their demon king.

The obvious reason you can't see the Creator of the Universe is that he is Spirit. He doesn't have a physical body to see.

John 4:24: "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

This is why, in the fullness of time, God became a man to live among us and show us the Father. From about 4 BC to 33 AD, we could see God.

One of the temptations for Jesus was to wow the crowd with pyrotechnics:

Matthew 4:6: "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' "

Here was Jesus' answer, which also answers your question, Michael:

Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"

Cheers,
Bruce

God is watching over this earth, whether you believe it or not. So why does God let bad things happen? Because He gave humans free will, and it is HIS will that all should serve Him. He doesn't will that ANY should perish.

It's up to us to love and serve Him. If we use our freewill to not seek Him, then we won't find Him, and that means we're not His, which in turn means we're not part of His kingdom of Heaven. There are only 2 choices. If you seek out God, you will find Him. But it's up to us. He wants us to love Him and believe in Him by our own FREE WILL AND FAITH.

"Seeing is believing" couldn't be farther from the truth. Christianity is called, "The Faith". Christians - true Christians - DO see God... and He is beautiful.

Ummm: Hide & Seek: Seek & Find: "Find Grace".
Dah: Simply follow the See-King clues given:
- Seek ye FIRST the KofG, AND his grace,
- "Find grace", "in time", to "help", solve the mystery
- Reconciliation is "unto God", NOT unto Jesus NOR Christ;
For e-life, of e-salvation, is "through" Jesus-->Christ-->God.
Pst: when reconciled, no need for a mediator nor intercessor.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

He is only hidden from those who refuse to see him.

There is a ton of evidence for God. But you have to choose to want to consider that evidence. You can't just ignore the evidence and then say that there is no evidence. That's just not logical

Those who come to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. God is there whether you see him or not. Your problem is your lack of belief.

since when are we obligated to prove anything to you? can you see love? can you see joy? how about truth? justice? hope? happiness? boredom? pain? fear? relief? sorrow? if your perception is limited to your five simple senses, and your understanding extends no farther than what you can measure, you have my sympathy

hahahahaa not logical??? how about priests being moved from to town to town when they get caught raping children? is that logical too?

u might as well quote something from harry potter. books are written by people

The evidence is there. People just prefer to be blind and not see Him.
