Like many of the other answers have stated, I have to warn you against doing anything to get that "fast" of weight loss results. The reason being is because trying to get that fast of results can set you up for failure and unhealthy patterns, which usually leads to weight gain in the long run. I have been researching dieting and weight loss for seven years and restrictive dieting, pills, supplements, even rigid exercise plans usually don't work in the long-run. Most people (99% in fact) who lose weight in such manners gain it all back and more within 10 years (depending on the study you look at it is even shorter).
A few questions to consider in eliminating your weight struggle forever....
Do you eat to cope with life?
Do you binge eat?
Do you eat when you are hungry and stop when you are full?
Do you eat for emotional or external reasons (because you are happy, depressed, stressed, lonely, dissatisfied with yourself, to numb out, because food is there, because there is nothing else to do, because it is fun to eat with friends, because it is a reward, because you can't waste food, etc.)
Would it be possible for you to feel fabulous and attractive at your current weight and as you are losing?
I work with teenagers and young adults who struggle with weight and body-esteem everyday. I help them to accept themselves and to learn to eat when they are hungry and stop when they are full. For most people, this is the only way for permanent success in the weight loss struggle.
If this information resonates with you and you'd like to discuss any of it further, please feel free to call me or email me. I'd love to give you some techniques to start you on a new path. My contact info. is on my site.
Good luck to you and never go on a diet, my friend!!!

40 lbs in 2 months is both impossible and extremely unhealthy. The max you should lose per week is 2 pounds. So feasibly you could lose about 20. You need to drink lots of water, eat a balanced diet with LOTS of fruits and veggies and exercise. Cardio burns fat. Get at least 30 minutes a day.

If you lower that number to something more reasonable, that would help. 40 pounds in 1 1/2 months is dangerous.
1. Exercise
2. Eat healthy
And take away that ridiculous goal. You'll just set yourself up for disappointment or death. Just get a dress for your size. There are gorgeous dresses out there for thicker girls. You guys are lucky and sexy!

i just lost 50 pounds, but it took me 9 months-although i dieted off and on. i did 1400-1500 calories (i'm 5'8") go to a calories calculating website. you need to eat 400-500 less a day than your daliy recommended amount to maintain weight. lots of fiber- 25-30 grams a day is a HUGE help. and 20 or less carbs at dinner or later. nighttime carbs are stored as fat and this was VERY true for me. nature's own whole grain sugar free bread, south beach diet wraps, and fiber one granola bars were all staples for me that were filling, tasted great, and kept me full. also, 4-5 smaller meals instead of 3 large ones helps your body to break down food easier. i always saved 100 calories for a bedtime snack, too. good luck!

get the style of dress that most flatters your body type. something that accentuates the smallest part of your middle whether it's your waist or under your bust. the weight can be lost but it will take a lot of hard work, commitment, and you need to write down every bite that goes in your mouth along with how long you exercise

its unhealthy to lose that much weight in that amount of time, you should only try to lose 1-2 lbs a week. what i'd recommend is thinking of something you might eat on a normal day. for instance, if for lunch you would usually have a sandwich, soda, and a bag of chips, replace the bag of chips with a fruit or vegetable and replace the soda with water.
