How is the best way to go about setting up a famous singer to sing at a wedding? I know it can be done, but I'm not sure how. Thanks.

My Fiance is in love with Kate Havnevik, her song, Nowhere Warm, is our song. It would mean the world to him if she could be arranged to sing.

It's a lot of money to shell out for one day, but it is one of the biggest days of your life so make it what you want. There are lots of celebrity booking agencies (http://www.executivevisions.com/celeb_entertainment.asp) You would have to research and find the one that can accommodate your request and/or price range. Just give it some thought and do your research. You might find it a better idea to put a chunk of change like that into the house you're going to share forever or something like that. Very sweet to see a man thinking of his wedding though in any case. Best of luck and big congrats!

Celebrity Singers For Hire

I agree with the person above me...your whole wedding would shift to the celebrity. Plus, it would be very expensive and probably wouldn't happen anyway. They're too busy. I guess you'd call their booking agent and book it. Sometimes, it'll have that info on their CD's in the liner notes.

All celebrities have booking agents but unless you are filthy rich why would you want to spend your money on this. This day should be about you not giving the attention to some famous singer that you hire.

Why would you want that? Seriously.

The focus of the wedding would shift to the celebrity . . . and the focus should really remain on bride and groom.

Unless the groom's brother is a famous tenor and volunteering his musical abilities for free, I'd skip this idea.

I agree w/ the first responder...why pay all that loot to shift the attention away from you & the Bride?
