I remember my friend once telling me that her mom made this great gravy to go with sausage and biscuits that used condensed milk. She told me how to do it in detail, and I went out and bought the stuff for it, but then forgot how to make it. Well now, I've got this condensed milk and I want to make this gravy for my family while they're visiting. Does anybody know how to make it?

Well, then, how do I make it with the evaporated milk?

Brown your sausage, and add 2 or 3 tbs of flour to the sausage and grease in the pan, mix well in hot pan, then add your milk stirring constantly until thick and bubbly, serve over biscuits!

I can't imagine making gravy with condensed milk! It is full of sugar.

Evaporated milk would probably be good to use.

I'm pretty sure your friend meant evaporated milk not condensed milk. condensed is used mostly for sweet desserts it has a high sugar content.
