How to deal with coworkers who cross interpersonal boundaries?

I am asking this because at the last job I worked at, there was one employee who had no concept of interpersonal boundaries. It was quite obvious that he was the touchy-feely flirtatious type. I tolerated his ways for a few months and then slowly got into avoidance mode until he got the picture and left me alone. He still acted the same way though toward other women in the workplace through his words such as using the term "baby" and touchy-feely personality. Another coworker actually called him a pervert to me in confidence. Could I have filed a sexual harassment complaint against him for this kind of behavior? I tend to be too nice and just use the avoidance approach to deal with these kinds of people on the job.

It's possible, chances are it would of be handled IN OFFICE. Or to say, that the managment would of had a nice conversation with him. I HATE!!! How you woman tolerate man "touchie-feeling" you thou. THAT INCOURGES THEM TO KEEP TRYING!!!!!!! So next time beat him down with some righteous honesty! Tell him how his behavior makes you feel, down his charater, make it HARD for him to be around you. Don't get upset, just strait from the heart, matter of fact, "Hey buddy this is ridiculous why don't you find another way to get your pride bust?", "Buddy you trying to find someone here in the office shows just how immature, socially iept, and emotionally unattuned you are, don't you think some of us actually develop right and our insulted by your behaviour?" or the famous "Buddy don't make me tell the management about your behavior". But really females take to much bs from boys becaue they believe their man. That guys no man, because no other man or woman whacked him and showed him a better way.
