So what is the real deal? What is their goal?

The second one was right, their goal is to try and stop the Western world from controlling the Muslim world. However, they should do this in a more peaceful way.

it relatively is not authentic it relatively is purely propaganda against Islam. Islam mean peace. Islam practice us like to non Muslims. If any Muslim isn't love peace he isn't Muslim. Osama, Mulla Omar, Eiman Zawahri are no longer Muslims they are CIA brokers. Georg W Bush is conscious it. He do no longer desire to locate them because of the fact they are CIA brokers.

"Double standards in the Middle East contributed to the growth of Islamic extremism and terrorist groups such as al Qaeda.

Ken Livingstone had told BBC radio that Western intervention in the Middle East since the end of World War I had been motivated by a desire to control the flow of oil.

While condemning suicide bombings, Livingstone indicated he recognized the conditions that had led Palestinians to take that route in Israel.”

"Under foreign occupation and denied a right to vote, denied the right to run your own affairs ... I suspect that if it had happened here in England we would have produced a lot of suicide bombers ourselves," said Livingstone.

"But I don't just denounce suicide bombers. I denounce those governments which use indiscriminate slaughter to advance their foreign policy."

Law: "great terror"-ist: Deuteronomy 34:12;
And notably a "great terror"-ist "to all Israel".
So then, goal of Is-Lamb-ic Law: is "terror",
notably "great terror", notably to "all Israel";
of Jacob-->Israel, which speaks of the USA,
since born again Israel in mid east is OT Law,
and USA is NT Law, "the second" of Mt 22:36-40,
which is notably "like the first", it's "Law": sin & death;
And in Rom 8:2 Law vs Law, it's as if Loser vs Loser.

Unless, we flush law, in favor of grace is sufficient;
Which allegorically means no law is required at all.

There is no law at all in "the God of all grace".
There is no darkness at all in "that God is light".
There is no discomfort in "the God of all comfort".
Prophesy: edify-->exhort-->all men unto comfort(only).

So, if Law vs Law: Loser vs Loser, wanna do War,
Bible says let them, for no "them" at all in "us-ward"-->.
Let us who'd have true peace go on unto PERFECTION:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
