You simply are not ready yet. What you told him, was the proper thing to say. Stick to it! Don't feel bad about it at all. He will just have to understand and get over it, that is to say if you want to continue being friends.

You dont have to rush into anything if it doesnt feel right. But, if you do want to kiss him it will come naturally. I was so nervous when I had my first kiss, I was so worried I wouldnt know what to do but it came so naturally, just like every one had said it would. Maybe you should tell him that you havent made out before and then he wont think you dont like him and be a bit more understanding. But dont let anyone, including your boyfriend, push you into anything you dont want to do.

He sounds like maybe he has the experience in the making out department, so just tell him you're new at this and let him take the lead in the kissing department. You'll catch on soon. But don't let the making out get too far and just assume that's all there is to it. He may try getting into heavy petting and feeling too if you let him and don't want to do so. So you may want to tell him early on, that kissing and hugging is as far as it goes.

well most likely he hasn't made out a lot and if so he's prob not that great anyway just say u weren't very ready and if u really want to be honest talk to him about it but u don't have to do that if u don't want to
u're just starting out w/ relationships don't worry everyone feels this way

Why do you need to prove anything to a boy. You are who you are and if he doesn't like waiting, then he isn't the guy for you. Why should you make out with a guy you have no commitment with?

I think you could perhaps tell him, if it will make you feel better, but if you dont want him to know, then dont tell him, he'll never know.
just go for it, trust me it will come natural, just enjoy it
xx
