What is your opinion? Particularly in high school when there are usually a lot of different classes and levels of classes to choose from. Any answer would be great!

Students should all be treated the same, but one student shouldnt be held back because he/she is more advanced than another student. All students should be givin an equal opportunity to learn thought

I believe that all students in each class should be held to the same standard, however if different students take different classes it is impossible to hold them to the same standards. When you have all these Honors and AP classes, its hard to hold them to the same standards as CP classes. All Honors and AP students should be held to the same standards, just as all the CP students, however they should all have high standards to reach (GPA, attendance, etc.). High expectations cannot survive low standards!

should, but that will never happen because the ACLU will say that it is racist, that minorities don't have the ability to do as well because of this, that or the other. therefore poor crime ridden areas will always have poorer performing children because less is expected of them and they are praised for any amount of effort put forward even if that effort is minimal. and no reprimand is given for no effort at all because nothing is expected of the children in the first place.
it's sad but that is what handout after handout after handout has gotten us, people who expect everything to be given to them and nothing to be expected from them in return.
