..i saw the mouvie..''A beautiful mind''...and that genius..called schyzofrenic.we the christians know that satan can change the reality and make a man feel like in the moon even, like in the mountyains when he is at the seaside..etc..
we know that satan is our biggest enemy, that he came to tempt even Jesus who is God, part of Holly Trinity,
We know that the church is also an authority , and that there is no medicine book where you can find the word'' demonized'', ''posessed by demons''..or troubled by demons..or tempted by demons..
.Saying as a a truth that a man is schizofrenic when he actually has bif fights with the demons, what is called in ortodox christianity '' the unseen war'', it is like you tell a lie, hiddding the truth behind this lie..
and this lie takes the people to hell..

Yes I would certainly agree with this,in fact I have two excellant books on genuine cases of this very concept.
One is by Gabriel Armorth called, An Exorcists Story and the other is by; Malachi Martin entitled, Hostage to the Devil.
They deal with authentic cases and not the Hollywood exaggerated stuff.
I got these online so you can run a search for these authors.

There is a difference between mental illness and demonic possession. And yes, I believe both exist. Serious mental illness can be genetic, due to environment, or a combination. It is an illness, just as much as hypertension, diabetes, or cancer. It is usually treatable through sound counseling and sometimes medication. Demonic possession usually manifests itself in some supernatural way (person speaks language not studied before, etc.) Sometimes it is not easy to tell the difference. Ultimately, there is sickness in the world due to the fall of mankind into sin. Often times, a person opens themselves up to problems by "playing" in occult practices. & Yes we all battle against satan and his fallen gang. But greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4) By the way, I have a family member that has a mental illness. She does very well with Christain counseling and medication.

I believe what the Bible says. There's nothing in it about schizophrenia. That is man's term for something he doesn't understand. Just like "bi polar", or "multiple personalities" There is, however, many accounts of demonic possession. Jesus cast out demons. That is a fact.
The Bible tells us that there is a spiritual battle that goes on in our minds. I believe that 100%. You can call it whatever you want. But, demons are real, they exist, they do satan's work, and they are at work this very moment. God Bless

No, this is medieval thinking; you call them mentally ill. If you'd read Nash's biography, you'd have learned through therapy and medication, he has learned to control it and lives a fairly normal life. If you had ever been around or lived with people with paranoia, you'd know that they are not possessed, but troubled and need special help and medication. However, that is not to say that some paranoid people aren't dangerous and don't need to be institutionalized.
The unseen war has nothing to do with mentally ill people. Rather it is between people and their conscience when they know what's right but still choose to do wrong wrong anyway. That sounds like everyday normal people to me.

I am SOOO glad that mental health PROFESSIONALS are not christian.
The guy doesn't need an exorcism, he needs medication. The brain is an organ, just like everything else in your body - and it has the ability to malfunction. If your liver or kidneys failed, would you preform and exorcism?? NO.... so, why when the brain is not working right is someone POSSESSED???

There is no Satan. The man was schizophrenic. Stop blaming Satan for everything when he doesn't exist. That's dilusional, which is also a mental disease.
