I have a friend who constantly tells me that things aren't the way they used to be in this generation, and that certain things are now more acceptable.
With that said, I've had a boyfriend for a month now, knew him for about a month before that. He treats me like royalty and we spend so much time together. He always talks about the future with us. He's very mature and intelligent.
I am a senior in college, 21 years old. We just started having sex (me for the first time). Was too soon?
I mean, I feel okay with it... but by principle, is it too soon?

no, I don't think it's too soon. On our first official date, my boyfriend came to my party (it was to celebrate my divorce from my ex-husband LOL). I got soooooo drunk, which I never do, or get a chance to do because I'm a single mom. He drove me home and I just said let's go to bed, we cuddled and slept for a few hours until the alchohol wore off, and then woke up and had the best sex EVER!! We've been together and are very happy and committed for 3 years. So I don't think sex too soon is what ruins relationships.

i mean if you feel okay then don't worry. but it seems as if your not sure, i would suggest to hold of on sex for a few weeks to get you mind and soul emotionally ready.

That is only something you can decide. If you feel like you were ready then it wasn't too soon. Its totally up to you. Good luck and just protect yourself please.
