Answer: The grace of God.
The best way that I know to obtain peace (via the grace of God) is to remain in sanctifying grace via the sacrament of Reconciliation, and
1. Receive Our Lord, truly present Body, Soul and Divinity in the Holy Eucharist, and
2. Pray the Rosary. You can do anything wiith the rosary

I use mind-body training techniques, meditation , diet, and try to fill my mind only with the best ideas about life and the spiritual. I try to train myself to be able to handle any emotion, no matter how strong, and I try to keep up on the most emotionally charge issues or problems facing this world. I also feel I should alway be ready to listen to people, who, because of their emotional state are not easy to listen to.

It's very simple. I do not tolerate any drama in my life. Nothing has the right to ruin my day except me! That is not to say I don't have bad days. I have bad days, but when I do, it's my fault. Period. The pain that life brings can only effect me if I ALLOW it to. I only have so much time on this planet, I plan to spend it learning.

Experience has a lot to do with it. As you get older, you face situations in life that you've already encountered and know what to do. From a spiritual standpoint, I have my Pagan beliefs to sustain me and that connection with the earth and its energies helps me to maintain an even keel in times of trouble.

Rain: An umbrella, or sometimes just a grin....
Pain: Solitude, exercise, friends, love, sleep, hot bath and epsom salts, painkillers, meditation, wilderness, ginger and turmeric. (All depends on what kind of pain)

I will let Jesus answer this one for you.
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. "In the world you have tribulation, but take courage, I have overcome the world." (John 16:32, 33)
"...I will never leave you, nor forsake you; therefore I can boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear what man can do to me" (Hebrews 13:5b,6). Trials develop godly character. "...we exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character, and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us...
