No!..Unfortunatly, this is no longer an 'oil war' or even a civil war!..Its become a Religious war! And that makes it unwinnable! You cannot stop the religious fanatics from becoming martyr's for their God!..For every one of them you kill, there are another ten who are willing to martyr themseves in their place! It is now a full on 'Holy War' and its going to go on and on, and get worse and worse!..We cannot stop it now, having started it. We are the unbelievers..The infidels, and we must, of course be converted by the sword, or, all be killed, in the name of Allah, and his infinite mercy! They really believe that!!...They will, and have slaughtered innocent men, women, children, baby's, all for Allah and his 'one true prophet' and actually believe with the determination of the closed minded fanatic, that what they are doing is demanded by their God! This war, is quite unwinnable! Unless Islam is totally destroyed as a religion! And that would make us just as evil as they are!..Why? Because we would then be doing it in the name of OUR God!.Our religious leaders would see to that!

Perhaps creating chaos in a silly foreign country, and getting astride Gulf oil routes, is a form of victory?
