This morning i found a spot of blood in it, and then when she came upstairs she threw up... it was very liquid, yellow.... Does anyone know what this could be?

If your dog has blood in her stool she could have an ulcer. This recently happened to my dog. Without me knowing she got into a bottle of Aleve and ate some. She had dark diarrhea, which means there was blood in it and she was throwing up. She ended up with an ulcer, but it could have been much worse, failing kidneys or liver. I was lucky, but she did have to take medication perscribed by the vet for almost two weeks, she was on three different medications. What you can do is make sure you dog stays hydrated until you get to go to the vet. I made my dog eat ice cubes because she loves those anyway. It sounds like your dog may have gotten into some medication or something else. You are right to get the vet quickly. Our vet demanded we come in even though they were closing when we described her symptoms. Good luck, I'm sure your dog will be fine once the vet takes a look at her and gets her on some medication. I would tell you to give your dog pepcid, but I don't know the weight of your dog. My dog is 85 lbs. and took 10 mg of pepcid twice a day. Just regular over the counter pepcid you find at walgreens. If you dog is near my dogs size you could try that. It helps calm their bellies. If your dog is not close to 85 lbs. please don't give the dog anything because you don't want the dog to take too much pepcid, but it does calm down their stomachs.

These symptoms can be associated with any number of things depending on age and other health factors. There is no clear diagnosis for bloody diarrhea and vomiting, but the possibilities include severe intestinal parasite infection, parvovirus, cancers, bowel obstruction, and enteritis. You are right to seek a vet asap, good luck.

Give the dog some canned pumkin and remove all other food for now. The canned pumpkin will usually end the diarrhea quickly.

There is just no way for us to know why your dog is ill, that is up to the Vet. You can get the canned pumpkin in the grocery store usually in the department with all the baking items. Don't get the pie filling, just the plain pumpkin.

an emergency Vet Clinic is the answer.
Don`t wait for your appointment, seek out a vet ASAP that WILL see your dog NOW.
Blood in the stool is NEVER a good sign, and could be indicating a blockage and tear in the intestinal track.
I once flew back across country to take my pup to the vet with similar symptoms.
Good Luck

Throwing up and diarrhea are signs of Parvo virus, and worms. If your pet hasn't had its entire series of vaccinations for parvo,it could possibly be this and you should have it checked asap if no vaccinations for this have been given. If you've completed the vaccinations, this could possibly be caused by worms.Try replacing its water with the baby no-flavored pediolyte, this will settle its stomach, and repace any electrolytes it has lost with the diarrhea, and obtain a safe wormer called Panacur from any vet clinic for the worms. This wormer is given by weight and adminstered three days in a row,and don't forget to repeat in two weeks.

She isn't eating, and her stomach is bothering her.. It could be something as simple as worms / parasites or it could be something else.
