Khalid, why do you want to be "addicted"? Don't think of it in terms of an addiction. Think of it in terms of something you enjoy as a pastime. Are you a non-reader who wants to learn to enjoy reading? Some of the posters here have given you some good advice on how to get started with that, so I won't repeat what they've already said. I can just tell you this: If you learn to love reading, you will never have to be bored again in your whole life. You can learn new skills, explore the world, explore space, look into the future...you can do almost anything you want through reading books.

I'm not certain of what type of answer u r looking for. Are you asking because you are already addicted? I have a problem with it...therefore, I don't read! If I pick up a book I will not sleep until I have finished it. Then, I immediately go to the store to buy a new one to read. I think anything can be addictive!

Are you wanting to become addicted...then, I like the first persons answer!!

Hello

Some people think that the best book is the longest and heaviest book but that's no true.

Go to a book store, consider the title and the picture on the cover,If.......

You want to make sure you really are going to like it read the summary on the back, or open the book and read one whole page,

One of these is going to work for you!

Start by reading about things that you're truly interested in. I read an entire textbook in one night, because it interested me so much. Ask people who know you (and what you like) to recommend books that they know you would enjoy. Happy reading...a good addiction :)

If you find a genre that you really enjoy, you start reading it. The more books you read in that genre, the more you'll want to explore other books.

Start off little, and grow.
(:
Good luck!

Find a book you can completely lose yourself in. Then read more by that author. Then read more in the genre. Then read a similar genre and so on and so forth.

start by reading subjects that you have alot of
interest in. read when you have to kill time like
waiting in line or in the bathroom. reading is a
habit that develops over time. always have a book
or magazine you like with you.
