I am running Vista Basic on my PC and I cannot save anything into word, it changes it into notepad when I next switch on the pc. Also when I send anything as an attatchment it does the same thing, can anyone help?

has your "MS Office version" expired ???

Are you running the 2007 version? Is it the legal version ( I am not casting aspersions but some people would have downloaded via Torrents). You may need to re install from the disc. How much memory have you got on your machine? Most important as Word uses a lot a Vista is just a hog for memory. 1GB should barely be OK but 2 is better. Re your attachments it definitely sounds like a memory issue.
