Normally, the doors to Catholic houses of worship are unlocked during the day and early evening between services.
The pastor/priest, or parish lay minister(s) may come in and out from time to time but, for the most part, you will have the place to yourself.
I often find it quite beneficial to just sit in the pews and quietly pray, mediate, contemplate.

Some Catholic churches yes, others no. Unfortunately, there are people on this earth who enter them not wishing to pray, but wishing to steal and desecrate. so some have closed their doors at certain times. I really would like them all to be open 24/7 though, or at least throughout the day!
The priest has a lot of duties, so it's rare that you'll find him there all the time.

Yes I think. I want to clear one thing regarding the prayers in the Church and other places. The birth of a child and death of a man happens any time , similarly an accident, a difference of opinion, a fight between two people,a misunderstanding, any message regarding anything--All these things are happening at anytime without any prior information. When you know all these things why not they open the Church all the time as things are happening at anytime in a man's life, so that anybody can come and pray for their wants.. Yours,

You should be able to go and pray whenever you want to. I know of some churches that are locked for security purposes, but most are open.
The priest is usually around, if not busy with other appointments elsewhere.

You don't have to go into a Catholoic church to pray.
You can pray anytime and anywhere. And you don't need a priest to pray for you. Christ rent to vail so anyone can go in.
1Pe 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

You can enter a Catholic church anytime it is open, to pray. But there is not always a priest there.

There isn't always a priest in the church. Most churches lock their doors during the day, to prevent vandalism. In theory, you could enter at any time, though.

Varies by community .
Some have had vandalism and thieves stealing from the donation box so they lock between services .
Others with higher traffic may stay open longer .
