Also, I heard that some of the beliefs is that Dinosaurs didn't exist and that the Ark actually happened.
Is this just the media going overboard, or is this true.

Some superb answers on the whole, apart from that odd post from 'his glory'. Many thanks people.
To extend the question, this musuem that is referred to, has this caused controversy in the US.
FYI, I am from England so only hear bits and pieces so the opinions of Americans is greatly appreciated and respected.

The Creationist museum has dinosaurs.
You're getting biased facts.
The be accurate the SCIENTIFIC history of Humans has NO dinosaurs, for they did not live when MAN lived.
Religion, at least the Judeo-Christian religion, is about MAN and MAN's lineage.
So Religion and Science agree MAN came AFTER dinos.
Although the Creation Musuem has Adam and Noah with Dinos, but that's mostly a tounge in cheek thing from the creator.
Actually we have a Baptist Preacher who is a Palientologist and he postulated that some Dinosaurs were WARM BLOODED.
Something many people now accept. Birds (warm blooded creatures) are considered the ancestors of dinos, not frogs and lizards (cold blooded).

Media going overboard about Christians not believing that dinosaurs existed. The book of Job in the Bible mentions them.
If you call yourself Christian, then you believe "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them." Christians and most of the world believe in a global Flood and Noah.
If this nation is Christian as it claims, then Creationism has a huge following in the US. For sure, I believe that God created all. Man can't even get Pilt Down man or Nebraska man correct.

Yes.... a lot of people here in the US believe in creationism and everything that goes along with that religiously.
However they know there were dinosaurs....there's proof-positive.
I'm not sure but I think they believe the dinosaurs and man co-existed.

yes some people in the US actually believe all the old testament. crazy eh? no other country in the rest of the world still has a group still believing it (except for the odd freak). creationism is big big money in the US. america is backwards compared to the rest of the western world in alot of ways. they'll catch up eventually tho i hope.

As far as I can tell, it's true. About 30% of the people I work with talk about creationism, the rapture, and other Christian myths as if they were reality, which seems to match well with what the polls indicate.

Well, some believe dinos were here with man and yes that the Ark happened. It's true that a certain segment of American population believes that - if they didn't they never would have built that montrosity in Kentucky.

I don't trust the statistics the media gives. I have seen anywhere from 3 to75 per cent. If you word a question like do you believe in creationism ..I would say no..If you word the question .Do you think God created the Universe I would say yes. I believe in evolution but I believe God created the Universe . Polls can be misleading

Around 30% of the United States believes in creationism, so yes. (This is narrowing it down proportionally to the Christians who believe in evolution instead)

Yes, it has. Ironic, isn't it? I mean, they get human beings onto the frigging moon, but they're still afraid of scientific reality! It's hilarious!
(It would be funnier, though, if they didn't have such a large number of nuclear weapons - which they also invented - at their disposal.)

The media can't be trusted. It is bought.
As are many people on this forum.
That God created the universe is a fact.
