I m 7 year old gal. But my mum wants me 2 cut my hair into a boyish slope cut with very short sides and a short bangs. Currently, my hair is a short mushroom haircut. It is below my ears. My mum wants me 2 cut even more shorter as she thinks my hair is too long to be mantained. She trims my hair every month. But during the school holidays, we goes even shorter. As in half way pass my ears. She uses a shaver to shave my nape. If she is not free 2 cut my hair, she would bring me to the barber to get my hair cut. I dread going to the barber.

I suspect the OP is the troll posting here often and on parenting sites pretending to be a Lesbian mother and also the daughter called Taylor. Many adults and children have short hair but have no need to use razors on the nape and sides. You can have short hair that covers the neck and ears.

I think that your mom must have a reason like she is the oone that has to get you up for school and get you ready and that it would be less of a hassle to fix...also a sugestion would be is for you to start taking care of it better and show her that you could be responsible..but your 7 do you understand responsilility..well you must your hear this morning..have a good day little one

Wow, you are smart for 7....ask her to keep it longer, and get some conditioner that will get the tangles out..then brush it yourself, so your mom doesn't have to fuss with it.

ask her if you can keep some hair. tell her you feel like a boy and are scared that you might not like boys or they might not like you....(im not saying that you look like a boy, im just trying to help) and that should scare her to letting you grow your hair out! try it and let me know!

tell her you dont like it & simply say mom if you cut it im never tlaking to you again... & if she says oh well say mom its my hair not yours do it to yours if you want
