It is said that one of the most difficult things in the world is to make others laugh. How do we develop a sense of humour? How do we make others laugh bu laughing at ourselves?

Research has indicated that a sense of humor is related to both intelligence and culture. Something that would be funny to someone from Great Britian, for example, might be lost in the cultural translation for an American.
On the other hand, people who laugh at slap-stick may be lacking in some intelligence. I enjoyed The Three Stooges as a child, but now I find them pointless. I still admire the actor's work to a point, but the violence and the racism portrayed in many of their shorts now insults me.
