When ever you show up in the room- they usually get something- water, food, attention. They are pets and enjoy your company. They are trying to communicate to you. They know their names and they listen. They also love to chirp in the morning- like all birds do.

Chirping is their way of expressing love for you. They have learnt that once you are on your way to go downstairs, you are not visible to them for some time. Apparently ,they dislike to remain without your company. May be they are saying, remain with us, remain with us.You are lucky to have such loving parakeets.
