I have a hell of a lot of allergies and I had a scan done on my sinuses and it turns out I have a pulip in my sinus.
I wish to have an operation to remove it.

What I would like to know is;
Is this a day procedure?
How do they take it out?
Does it hurt like hell?
And will it stop or calm my hayfever when I have it removed?

Thanks for your answers.

Serious answers too please.

My bro-in-law had a polyp in his sinus and had an operation to remove it. It was a few years ago and at that time he had to stay in hospital overnight. It could well be a day procedure by now. I don't remember him saying it was particularly painful at the time or afterwards. The only problem he had was when they took the packing out of his nose and he sneezed and opened the wound for a few minutes. That was a bit messy. Hayfever is an allergy so that might not be cured as such - but I'm sure your breathing would improve after having the polyp removed. You might not sneeze as much.
